Laminated wood – durable material for long-lasting play furniture

Laminated wood is a high-performance engineered material made from multiple layers of wood bonded under heat and pressure. Unlike plywood, the grain direction of each layer typically runs parallel, resulting in exceptional strength and shape stability. In our Pirum assortment, laminated wood is used wherever wooden toys and furniture need to be especially sturdy – for example in doll bed slats, seating surfaces or structural parts of play kitchens.
